Learn how to create your first character and start playing

Quick Start Guide

Getting started with Law of 100 takes less than 2 minutes. Let’s walk through setting up your first practice.

Step 1: Create an Account

  1. Click “Get Started” on the homepage
  2. Sign up with your email or use Google/GitHub
  3. Verify your email address
  4. You’re in!

Step 2: Create your first character

Once you’re logged in, the workspace is ready. Time to create your first character

Creating Your Character

  1. Enter a Character Name
  2. Enter a string for the system you are playing
  • This is (currently) just a note to yourself
  1. Click on “Add Character”

That’s it! Your character is now ready to be filled in.

Step 3: Adding blocks to your character

Now comes the important part: Filling in the sections for your character

  1. Trackers
  2. Markdown
  3. Images
  4. Stats

Use Trackers for Resources

Trackers let you manage anything that has a value that changes frequently during play:

  1. Open a character sheet that includes resources (HP, spell slots, supplies, etc.)
  2. Click the value to edit it inline or use the +/- buttons for quick adjustments
  3. Every change writes to the Tracker history drawer so you can see when and why a value shifted
